Below is a reference of languages with their codes. While this is not a comprehensive list, any exceptions to the ISO 639-1 standard are listed below. As a reminder, titles of files should use the ISO 3166 region code whenever possible, but use the below language codes when a region is not applicable or cannot be determined.
If the need for the distinction between Chinese languages arises, and the use of a code is required, use the ISO 639-3 codes. Please alert immewnity is this occurs.
